Davide Spallazzo
Associate Professor
Graduated in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano, he obtained his Ph.D. in Design at the same university investigating the role of mobile technology in the enhancement of cultural heritage.
He holds teaching positions at the School of Design of the Politecnico di Milano, first as an adjunct professor (2012), then as a researcher (2017), and finally as an associate professor (2021).
From 2016 to 2018 he is a lecturer at the School of Architecture and Engineering, University of Bologna.
Since 2013 he has been on the faculty of several POLI.Design masters and since 2020 he has been on the faculty of the Master in Digital Humanities at the Università Statale di Milano.
Over the years he has been invited as a visiting professor at several international universities and participates in the committee of international design conferences.
Active in the fields of Interaction Design and Human-Computer Interaction, he leads research projects won with competitive calls and funded by companies.
Since 2021, he has served as secretary of the Course of Study in Digital & Interaction Design, and, since 2022, he has been deputy coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Design.
