The Interaction & Experience Design Research Lab designs for experience by enabling meaningful and innovative interaction between people, products and context over time.
The Lab is interested in research-through-design projects and experience evaluation.
The IEX researchers design products, services and interactive multimedia artefacts that suggest future scenarios by making them real, tangible and testable.
IEX adopts a research-trough-design approach, starting every design process with a research question in mind and producing design outcomes to answer it, envisioning unforeseen possibilities.
The Lab is also interested in experience evaluation activities through a multidisciplinary approach. While setting experimental methods based on the designer’s expertise and sensibility, the Lab leads objective evaluation based on physiological parameters.
